... the sound can be both driving and introspective, from the energy blast of "Alone Again" to the serene lyricism of "She Walks In." The album is cohesive, yet diverse. The title track has a New Orleans second line groove, and "On to Guadalupe" takes a turn towards Latin jazz.. "Natalie" is a melodic, gypsy-inflected tune, featuring guest violinist Gilles Apap.
